Pastor Billy Russell and his wife, Theresa, joined River of Life in February 2025, where he serves as interim pastor. With over 40 years of ministry experience, Pastor Russell previously led Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Minneapolis, MN, from 2001 to 2021. In addition to his pastoral work, he has served as a K-12 school principal and held leadership roles on various ministry boards. He holds an M.A. in Christian Counseling and Strategic Leadership (EBD) from Faith International University in Tacoma, WA. In his free time, he enjoys reading, fishing, and working out.
